What TradingWise is

TradingWise provides educational software: calculators, scenario tables, and planning tools for equities and options. TradingWise is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, or financial institution of any kind.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site — calculators, scenario tables, AI explanations, articles, or examples — is investment, trading, tax, or legal advice. All outputs are illustrative and educational. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions; consult a qualified professional before acting. Securities and options involve risk of loss, including the total loss of premium for options.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Provide an accurate email address, keep your password private, and do not share your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. By creating an account you confirm you have read and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempting to breach its security, no scraping or automated use that degrades it for others, and no unlawful activity. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

Your saved positions, plans, and alerts remain yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store and display them to you as part of operating the service. Shared plan links are viewable by anyone who has the link — share them deliberately.

Pro subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe, monthly ($19.99) or annually ($199), as selected at checkout. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. If you delete your account while subscribed, cancel your subscription first via the billing portal.

Fair use: Pro includes up to 100 AI trade analyses per calendar month. If you need more for legitimate use, contact us — accounts abusing the AI quota to resell or scrape outputs may have AI access throttled or suspended. Free accounts get 3 active price alerts and 1 AI trade analysis per calendar month.

Availability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. On our current hosting plan, redeploys can reset the database — keep your own records of anything important, and do not rely on TradingWise as the sole copy of your data.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradingWise is not liable for: trading losses or decisions made using the tools; service interruptions, errors, or data loss; or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it and delete your account.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
